Before opening the MAISON BAO, Emmanuel and Marie ran a restaurant in La Londe-les-Maures for several years: the BAO – Bouche à Oreille. A discreet but well-known address, appreciated for its home cooking, fresh produce and sincere welcome. It’s where they’ve found their place in the hearts of their customers.
Today, at the BAO, this passion continues in a more confidential spirit. Emmanuel, who trained at the École Ducasse, offers a fair and generous cuisine, combining local inspiration with Italian accents.
Breakfast
Breakfast is a gentle moment, where simplicity meets quality. The emphasis is on local, home-made products: breads, pastries, yoghurts, jams, fresh fruit, home-made juices, eggs, cheeses and cold meats. Each item is carefully selected to ensure you wake up to a delicious, authentic experience.
Breakfast is served between 8.30am and 10am, with a choice of sweet, savoury or mixed dishes. When the weather is fine, breakfast can be enjoyed on the wooden terrace overlooking the garden, in a peaceful atmosphere. And if the weather doesn’t allow it, or out of season, they can be served in your room or under your private, covered terrace, for a cosier moment.
Dinners
Share our love of simple, generous, seasonal cuisine for a home-cooked dinner at the TABLE DU BAO.
Every evening – except Fridays – Emmanuel proposes a complete menu, according to the inspiration of the moment. Made from fresh, local produce, with the occasional Italian touch that we love, these meals extend the pleasure of gourmet pleasure and conviviality. The menu is priced at €45 per person, excluding drinks.
Adjustments can be made for allergies or preferences, so please let us know well in advance. A fine selection of local wines, house cocktails, spirits and beers accompanies the meal.
From May to September, dinner is served outside, on a large terrace lined with greenery and served on pretty individual tables. If the weather turns nasty, the service may be cancelled in exceptional circumstances to ensure your comfort.
Guests at the BAO HOUSE can book their dinner by noon the day before.
At the TABLE DU BAO, dinners are primarily reserved for guests of the house. But from time to time, a few places are available for outside guests: friends, neighbours or seasonal gourmets, curious to discover the spirit of the place.
MAISON BAO is a confidential address, a place of calm and serenity. To preserve this atmosphere, the restaurant is only open by reservation.
In keeping with the spirit of the place, younger children are not welcome.
